I'm officially in love
with SPN. I even adored Ackles in it! Wow!
I admit, I was afraid it would be a bad rehash of the old theme. It wasn't. And Jared rocked - as usual. I hope everybody that says he can't act are eating some serious humble pie right now. I am eating it because of my dislike of Ackles. Tht scene when Sam tells him he'd peed himself converted me totally. The indignation on Ackles part was smack on. So was his worry for his brother, his disbelief about what he was told and the big brotherly act of 'all right I'll run with you this time, if it makes you happy'. I am totally eating humble pie. I love them both and yes. SPN now is my nr. 1 fandom.
Jared, oh Jared! I knew he was going to break my heart and dang, he did. The growing frustration about what was goind on, the helplessness at watching his brother die over and over and the final death leading to the blank rage resulting i routine killings. How he never let go of his brother. Always two meals catered, Dean's toothbrush in the bathroom all pointed to how strictly Sam still held on to old routines. He was as dead as Dean, just going through the motions and killing everything in sight as revenge. The desperate hug and the look at the clock when he left the motel room brought tears to my eyes.
Sam knows Dean is leaving him, he just lived through his bersonal hell without his brother and knows where Dean is ending up. And it's killing him. It's killing human Sam and as I suspected; he will go darkside in order to save Dean. And darkside!Sam is not human. Dysfunctional doesn't even begin to cover what Sam is about to become without his brother.
