I'm not sure he actually is there other than a pretty, very pretty wall-flower because really, all his arcs have been given to Dean. The new angel guy will probably take his place, fandom loves him because he's hot. *g* Probably comes cheaper than Jared too.

The thing I find most chocking is that I find Jensen's acting has become more posing than actual acting. I guess the fandom wants to see the pretteh but in many scenes I was astounded by the lack of vividness in him. He just stood there and 'looked' a certain way. He is better than that. Just pulling a face that's supposed to express an emotions is not enough for me. I really don't get the 'Jensen is the second coming' - thing. Just don't get it!

But really, the way Kripke has upped the ante, I think this is the last season. Because really, where do you go from here? I think the earlier producer was behind all the character growth in S1 and 2, now it's really stagnated and Dean has even regressed into a 30-year old teen. I think all the growth we see in Sam is mainly from the actor actually caring about his character's development, not from Kripke.

But Jared can only do so much with his maximum of 15 mins per eo *sighs*
