Why on earth would you doubt this story?! I adore it!!! I love the medical detail (it's a kink of mine) and I think it's totally believable that teen!Sam would hide an injury to forestall a rant about his failings at the job.

Your feverish Sam is just perfect. Droopy and woozy and I just wanted to hug him. Instead I think I'll hug you for giving me such a great Pay It Forward story. *hugs*
