That's a tragedy *g* Does this mean I have to start an original fic? Because without writing I will go nuts - ok nuttier. Ah, the dilemmas of the post-post-industrial society!

And I should really get on with tidying up my icons, the SPN ones need to go, I'm keeping Jared but everything else is bye-bye. I'm toying with the idea of doing some animated Bones icons, because ah Sweets, you're so silly I think I'm falling in love.

Good luck with the icons. :) I've been revamping a bunch of mine. And now it's leading me to a whole new layout. X( lol... I'm hoping it'll be up and running today though! :) (And it's got some nice GE shots, which could get your muses running, right?) Yeah, it's been awhile since I've read a Nick/Rick fic... :(

I so miss my boys but damned, the GSR destroyed the entire show for me. When I watch reruns, with the normal Grissom, I just see the hypocrite he turned into before my eyes. Gah! I swear, it's tainted the entire show, even in retrospect. And I have to wait until ep 10 until hes gone? It's the same really with SPN, except Kripke is just as big a liar as Mendelson so I don't believe we'll get much Nick at all. George and Jared share the same unfortunate destiny to be pulled out when real acting is required and are put on the back burner when looking pretty is enough. They have a very similar acting style too, they don't have than one emotion at the time face that seems to be in at the moment. *facepalm*

What is this scrap with good actors being shunned? A conspiracy?

Well, wait no longer- I got it all finished up. :) Think Monte Carlo meets Hawaii... :D

And yeah- I hate that about the whole ruining/tainting the entire show... :( I haven't even felt like watching a rerun in forever... which is rather sad.

But at least we've both got Bones to look forward to! I've been *loving* the new season as much as the past ones, especially the latest episode. :)

I saw review of the new eps the other day, maybe at buddytv, that said half of fandom was gonna be flailing and the other half were gonna be pissed. sorry hon.

but hey, maybe its not all over for you yet? I've got a few theories on where kripke's going but don't know if you want to hear them right now.


btw, did I see some fic by you the other day? I swear, my flist exploded with new fic the past week or so, there was no way to keep up.

Well, you don't have to start an original fic, but you could give it a try. You've got the talent, so why not use it? If for no other reason then because you like to write.

*grrrrrr* I know exactly how you feel. I didn't mind the new spn episode, but it did feel a little predictable and I see no new Sammy fics being inspired in the near future - oh, Sam's still in the show isn't he? I keep worrying that Kripe will cut the budget just a tad too far and Sam will disappear for good.

Now, your current fic is excellent, so don't despair, just keep on writing. That's something I like about fandom - really, you can ignore what's happening in the show and write it the way you wish it had happened.

Plus, you never know when inspiration will hit for something new, and an original fic might be fun.

I'm not sure he actually is there other than a pretty, very pretty wall-flower because really, all his arcs have been given to Dean. The new angel guy will probably take his place, fandom loves him because he's hot. *g* Probably comes cheaper than Jared too.

The thing I find most chocking is that I find Jensen's acting has become more posing than actual acting. I guess the fandom wants to see the pretteh but in many scenes I was astounded by the lack of vividness in him. He just stood there and 'looked' a certain way. He is better than that. Just pulling a face that's supposed to express an emotions is not enough for me. I really don't get the 'Jensen is the second coming' - thing. Just don't get it!

But really, the way Kripke has upped the ante, I think this is the last season. Because really, where do you go from here? I think the earlier producer was behind all the character growth in S1 and 2, now it's really stagnated and Dean has even regressed into a 30-year old teen. I think all the growth we see in Sam is mainly from the actor actually caring about his character's development, not from Kripke.

But Jared can only do so much with his maximum of 15 mins per eo *sighs*

I think I'm too lazy for original fic. fanfic takes a lot of research but original fic? Ouch!

I know I've been missing in action awhile, but I haven't had the mental fortitude to write for fun lately. I'm officially two weeks away from finishing my Master's and still can't get a full time job. In any case, I'm leery about this upcoming season for TV. I don't watch SPN, but I've heard rumblings of a shake up. Don't even get me started about CSI. I think I may breakdown and watch the very first episode to see what they plan to do, but other than that its buh-bye. What this ramble is leading up to is me maybe asking you to think about playing in the CSI:NY and Criminal Minds sandboxes. I'm a big fan of the characters Sheldon Hawkes and Derek Morgan respectively. Neither of these characters are in fic a great deal and I think they both have a great deal of possibilities that have not been explored yet. If you want, I even have some started fics that I haven't finished that may spark a writing frenzy or something. I'll keep pitching ideas at you and maybe something will stick. So, let me know. I'll try anything, because I'm going through Nick/Rick withdrawal and I really want to read some more Hawkes and Morgan fics.

Congrats on the Master's!

I like Derek Morgan, a lot! I watch CM occasionally, but I haven't been bitten hard yet. Party because the lead irks me and, yeah, D is on the back burner *sheesh*

I think I'll be swearing off tv because really, every character I like is snuffed while the more Mary Sueish ones gets all the light. WTF is that all about?
