All accounted for. *relieved sigh*
Life must have been so much easier when all you knew was what happened in the closest village.

I'm glad to hear that your friends are okay-what an awful thing to have occur. The pictures on TV were terribly scary. One of the newscasters said that the more recent;y built buildings collapsed with a lot of damage whereas the ones built way back in the past stood up pretty well.

Depend on the city, some historical centers are utterly destroyed but so are the seismic-proof, new buildings. It seems that in some parts the older houses did do better than the new ones thou. Which really is no suprise since the area is vey proe to earthquakes and has seen a few.

But the magnitude is terrifying!
