Eidetic, Nick? You, that's supposed to be so dense? Eidetic? Warrick thinks you've been screwing around with Grissom on him! I would too, because man, you are starting to scare me! Drop the Grissomesc edge you've gotten; he's nothing to look up to. He's a fricken hypocrite that thinks he's above the rest. Chew him a new one Nicky, very underhandedly, with some new fancy words you've picked up, and Ill love you forever.
The fact that struck me was that they are making Nick into Grissom - a thing I saw glimpses off even in S6 - while Grissom has become that blond dude with affairs on the side that Nick was supposed to be originally. This is just boggling my mind that the characters are being rewritten all of a sudden. GE manages to make it believable, Grissom I just wanna slap, and hard. The flashbacks - while Nick was heartbreaking in the Gumdrops one - are they really necessary? Were they just filler in an episode you knew would drag? Despite he blatant GD rip-off? Give the man another ep like Gum Drops and let him flex his acting muscles instead.
I agree with the man, Sara slo-moing in the desert made me laugh - it was cheesy and cheap and I just fast forwarded. Another way to use some minutes that someone was too lazy to fill with something sensible. And ah the helicopter pans, the desert views so interesting I rolled my eyes and thought I'd gotten a Nevada tourism promo instead of CSI there for a moment. *sheesch*
Nick being the one finding Sara was sweet, but it will lead to nothing. Greg and Grissom will take all the credit as usual. And frankly, I wished Nick hadn't been at all in this soapy ep - they could have sent him home with Warrick instead.
Please TPTB, fire Grissom and Sara - they are ruining the show and pushing my men to the side. Warrick was in it what? 4 minutes?
And dear TPTB - you're not going to be able to fix the GD mess with this one, because by now I don't care diddley about anyone than Rick and Nick. Congratulations on killing a show, dudes!
Is it fixable? Not as long as I have to see the hypocrite Gilbert Grissom in it - you can just bury it right now because whatever you do, the damage is done.
But please - kill Nicky and Warrick so GE and GD can get out of this! A car-crash would be suitable - on their way to a crime-scene. Please! No need for any mourning scenes or anything - just fricken kill them! They're too good for this re-heated shit!
