You will probably laugh your assess off

My folks are going away for 2 weeks on a vacation. We promised to take care of the cats. Mom decided she needed to check us out first. If we're good enough in parenting and our cats behaved correctly.
Unfortunately, I am not kidding.

So she and Pa stayed at our place with the cats today. I predict rearranged kitchen cabinets.

Then, an hour ago, she called and asked why my cats are constantly sitting on the kitchen table when hoomins are having coffee or eating? I silently cursed man vehemently. Mom proceeded to say she had offered cat food and raided our fridge to find something good for the critters. Apparently she found the ham and has fed it all to the devils. That's why she called me; to alert me that we're out of ham and that I need to pick some more up not to cause cat starvation.

I can only guess that it means that we're approved and the cats will stay with us.

Luckily I have to go directly to horsie and wait for the farrier after work. May take a very long time too. Man can handle the craziness, he's the root of all evil after all.

And it's getting really thin right now. *glares at Bones for not being back yet*

There are few shows that are able to bring me back, but darn if CSI didn't manage - thanks to finally discovering that show is about solving cases and not romance and team members angsting for everything under the sun. And thanks to finally taking Nick off the back-burner.

NCIS - All I can say is: Tony and McGee FTW! Solid ep, as always. Missed Palmer thou.

Man was tidying up the DVR and we got stuck on last week's Lauantaiviihde. I laughed my ass off at the On call Ninja at the unemployment office and the Doc with the lottery diagnosis. The humor is so quintessentially Finnish that ... *facepalms and laughs*

Cats are now all sleeping on my side of the bed upstairs and we gotta be up early tomorrow to drive the folks to the airport. *sigh*
